Mimótica Micola is a company that was created in Barcelona in 2003; it has more than 300 points of sale (POS) around the world e.g. Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Germany, Holland, Tokyo.
Raquel Micola, a designer at Mimótica Micola, was born and raised in Barcelona.  Her interest in fashion started at a young age.  Her grandmother worked as a trouser maker and fixed bull fighter costumes whenever they were torn by a bull’s horn.  For Raquel, all of those shiny little balls and golden thread seemed magical and she would usually sit next to her grandmother’s side while she sewed.  Her grandmother’s perfectionism started to become clear in Raquel’s work.  The love for her work and fashion along with her curious spirit have transformed into surprising collections that her clients continue to fall in love with season after season.
