Cherise Angelle graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business Administration. Her sophisticated and unique style, coupled with her desire to excel in the fashion industry, led her to Los Angeles in pursuit of a career in luxury product placement. As the marketing coordinator of Scene Again, a seasoned product placement agency, she placed
high-end fashion products and designer diamonds in film and television, dressed celebrities for red carpet events, organized fashion shows, and planned fashion-focused events. She introduced new clients to celebrities, stylists, film productions, and television executives, in addition to researching trends and creating proposals for new fashion clients. Building this professional network lead Ms. Angelle to be featured in Vogue magazine’s article, “What Works for Work,” in the November 2005 issue.

Ms. Angelle’s success in product placement solidified her passion for the fashion industry, which ultimately led her to The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). Upon completion of her initial studies, she earned an Associate of Arts degree in Apparel Manufacturing Management, graduating summa cum laude. While in school, she continued to do freelance work as a stylist and image consultant to celebrities and private clients. Still hungry for knowledge, Ms. Angelle applied for and was accepted to the exclusive Advanced Footwear Design program at FIDM, in which only 10-12 students are accepted per year. She earned an Associate of Arts degree in Footwear Design and studied extensively in Italy prior to graduating in June 2007. While in this specialized footwear design program, Ms. Angelle was selected as a finalist of the Brown Shoe Company national design competition and accepted an elite internship with the company upon graduation.

While an intern at Brown Shoe, Ms. Angelle attended the World Shoe Association (WSA) trade show, where she received first place honors in a design competition sponsored by the WSA. She participated in design and sample reviews for four different brands, researched and established the autumn/winter 2008/2009 trends, and designed a 12-piece collection for Via Spiga for the autumn/winter 2008/2009 season.
